He is a general paediatrician with a special clinical interest in assessing children with specific learning and behavioural difficulties. He is an Honorary Consultant Physician at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and serves as Consultant Paediatrician on the faculty of the Department of Psychological Medicine. He also holds regular clinics at The Child and Family Practice and at Princess Margaret Hospital, in Windsor.

Simon has over thirty years experience of mental health in a wide variety of settings and contexts.
He is Co-Director of CFP and Consultant in Child and Family Therapy to Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor.
Simon has a special interest in using an active and creative approach to therapy, in working with young children, teenagers, families and couples.
He also works as a court Expert, specialising in Care and Contact cases.

Dr. Arnon Bentovim
Dr.Arnon Bentovim is a Child Psychiatrist who worked for many years as a consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital and at the Tavistock Clinic.
He played a key role in the formation of the Association for Family Therapy.

Tara has been employed at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust since 2003. Her clinical work has spanned Paediatric Psychology and Neuropsychology Services. Tara works with children who experience a broad range of learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Becky Stevenson (MSc, RD, SENr)
Becky Stevenson (MSc, RD, SENr) is a dietitian with a special interest in paediatrics. She is also a registered Sports and Exercise Nutritionist. She trained at University College Hospital London, and has worked over the past 8 years in varying paediatric roles in the London Teaching Hospitals. Her experience includes gastro, liver, general, oncology, neonatology, food allergy and HIV.
Becky combines her private practice work with her role as Head of Nutrition for British Tennis.

Bryan Lask
Bryan Lask is a Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Univ. of London, with a special interest in eating disorders. He started the country's first early onset eating disorders clinical service at Gt Ormond St Hospital for Children where he is returning later this year with his research programme. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Oslo. He has published 10 books and over 150 papers and has lectured all over the World

Lesley has worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for over 35 years, both at the Portland Hospital and elsewhere. Lesley has a special interest in the management of impaired listening and comprehension and enjoys working with literacy difficulties. However, she is also able to advise on a wide range of other speech and language conditions and to liaise with local services in providing intervention. Lesley has experience of court and tribunal work.

Stephanie has an extensive clinical background as a Paediatric Nurse with many years experience within the both NHS and the Private Sector. She has held senior posts across both acute and community settings.
Until recently she worked for the London Strategic Health Authority leading on the strategy and development of children’s services. She also had a lead role in Safeguarding Children and Palliative Care. She is experienced at working across Organisations and at local, regional and national level. For the past ten years, she has maintained a clinical workload as an independent consultant offering a home visiting service advising parents on infant feeding and weaning – an area that she developed a specials and personal interest in.

Dr. EstherSerrano-Ikkos
Dr. EstherSerrano-Ikkos is a consultant clinical psychologist working with all age groups, children to adult.
She specialized in CBT and family interventions. More recently, she completed the training in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
She provides treatment for emotional difficulties, physical illness/disabling or life threatening conditions;
and psychological trauma in relation to medical procedures, personal injury, bullying, abuse and torture.

Dr. Robert Oxlade MA Oxon, BMBCh, MRCPsych, FRCPC
Member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
Certified EMDR therapist.
Dr. Oxlade qualified in Medicine from Oxford University and Guy’s Hospital Medical School, and trained in Psychiatry in Oxford and London before emigrating to Canada in 1977. While in Canada he pursued his interest in traumatic stress, working in adult psychiatry with individuals suffering from their service in hazardous professions such as Canadian peace keeping soldiers; police officers; school teachers and victims of assaults and accidents. He trained in EMDR in 1994, and now that the EMDR missionary years are in the past, continues to practise this effective therapy. He researched the significance of sleep disorders in association with traumatic stress with Dr. John Carlile of the Kingston Sleep Laboratory, Kingston Ontario, of which he became an Associate. He recently retired from his role as Assistant Professor in Psychiatry, Queens University, Kingston. His special interest in sleep disorder medicine and its interface with psychiatry, and traumatic stress is now put to good use in England with the Royal Navy in Portsmouth, and the Metropolitan Police. He also provides professional mental health advice to businesses and provides medico-legal advice in the area of traumatic and occupational stress.

Elizabeth Rickards
Educated at St Marys, Shaftesbury, Elizabeth Rickards read History and French at St Andrews University and then did a post graduate teaching qualification in Edinburgh.
After several years teaching English in France and London, she was appointed Vice Principal of Duff Miller College in 1986.
From 1996 to 2007 Elizabeth was Principal of Davies Laing and Dick, a leading independent fifth and sixth form college.
More recently she worked as a Senior Consultant at Gabbitas Education

She is particularly interested in the problems of adolescents and their impact on other family members, such as eating disorders, conduct disorders, and the consequences of physical illness.
